Joint Evaluated Fission and Fusion (JEFF) Library version 3.2

The Joint Evaluated Fission and Fusion File is an evaluated library produced via an international collaboration of Data Bank member countries co-ordinated by the JEFF Scientific Co-ordination Group, under the auspices of the NEA Data Bank.

The new JEFF-3.2 general purpose library has been released on March 5, 2014 in ENDF-6 format and contains incident neutron data for 472 nuclides or elements from 1-H-1 to 100-Fm-255.

Superseded library

Please note that this is a superseded library that was approved for formal release but has been replaced with a newer official library version.

The complete set of data, including incident-neutron files for 472 nuclides, processed ACE format data in several temperatures from 293K to 1800K, processing inputs, TSL data and checking code outputs are available online here:

The JEFF-3.2 library does not have a dedicated release publication. Users are requested to reference the JEFF-3.3 library, which included the improvements of JEFF-3.2 with several necessary improvements. The official reference for the JEFF-3.3 library is the peer-reviewed publication made in the European Physical Journal A by the JEFF Chair and collaborators:
